OnePlus is rolling out a new software update for its OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 in China, where its software is dubbed as HydrogenOS. Right now, HydrogenOS beta 7 is rolling out for the OnePlus 3T users, while the OnePlus 3 devices have reached HydrogenOS beta version 13 with today’s OTA.

The changelog for both the devices remain same, as usual — which is cool, as this means the now-discontinued OnePlus 3 won’t be forgotten, and will be given timely update treatment that its high-end variant OnePlus 3T is given.

Today’s OnePlus OTA update not only fixes the issues with clock app where it won’t ring the alarm, but also solves the issue with black and white theme’s display. The issues with contacts app, where you users had trouble with updating duplicating contacts, or contacts not being searched properly, have also been fixed.

Other than that, there’s system level optimizations for better stability and a fix for an issue with Tencent app where it would crash upon opening after the update.
