The OnePlus 2 was recently updated to OxygenOS 3.5.5, which was a great update, but things didn’t go very smoothly as OnePlus 2 started dropping signal many a times on the update. This has been quickly rectified, with OnePlus releasing a patch with OxygenOS 3.5.6 and fixing the network drop issue.
In case your device is on a version of OxygenOS older than 3.5.5 and you’re wondering how to begin with the update process, you can head over to our update page for the OnePlus 2. The only change here would be to download OxygenOS 3.5.6 (obviously).
Even though the OnePlus 2 has already been succeeded twice, it is still able to hold its ground in the performance department. The OnePlus 2 should be getting Nougat too in the coming months, but that should be after beta testing has proven to be satisfactory.
The OnePlus 3 on the other hand has now received Lineage OS support and the rest of the lineup from OnePlus are also expected to get the port to LOS soon. While on the official front, OnePlus could release the OnePlus 3 Nougat and OnePlus 3T Nougat update really soon.
