One UI 2 beta for Note 10 could be delayed even further

Galaxy Note 10 and 10 Plus

Last year, Samsung rolled out the latest iteration of Android — Android 9 Pie in 2018 — in record time, releasing the highly-anticipated update between Q4 2018 and Q1 2019. This year, the South Korean OEM is determined to improve upon its last-year heroics and roll out Android 10 sooner than expected.

Before the stable update is released, Samsung usually conducts a beta program in select countries, and One UI 2 is no exception. The beta is currently only available for the Galaxy S10 family and has already gone live in Korea, the US, Germany, and in the UK.

The beta was scheduled to roll out for the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus on October 21st, but it seems to have been postponed for unforeseen reasons. A Samsung customer care representative has told one of SamMobile’s readers that the One UI 2 beta has indeed been postponed, and won’t be going live before October 24th.

The One UI 2 beta for the S10 was supposed to expand to more countries (India, the UK included) on October 21st. In an interesting turn of events, the program has gone live in the UK, as scheduled, but users in India haven’t been that fortunate. If Samsung exhibits a similar pattern with the Note 10, we could see some fortunate users getting the update even before October 24th.
