So finally the official confirmation has come: Samsung Galaxy S III won’t be there at the Mobile World Congress. Samsung has said in a statement which would definitely let quite a few eager fans down, that they won’t be showcasing their flagship for 2012 at the MWC.
Samsung have said that, instead, the S III will be launched on a later date in a separate event. Although they didn’t disclose anything specific regarding that except for stating that it will be announced closer to the actual launch of the product. Rumour mills have already suggested an April-launch.
Still Samsung will join other manufacturers in the MWC with a host of devices that might include Android-tablets. Yet, this announcement must have disappointed one-and-all and has further deprived us of the glimpse of the most hotly-anticipated Android-device of the year.
