The LG Nexus 4 is launching today, with the Play Store in Australia sold out of both 8 and 16GB models already, and we all know that is one beautiful and sleek device. However, it is made entirely of glass on both the front and black, which has caused concerns about the possibility of cracking that glass too easily even in normal usage scenarios.
However, Google had promised to launch a bumper case for the Nexus 4 to protect that shiny glass, and the bumper case is now listed on the Google Play Store as “coming soon”. The case, which sports some sort of aluminium on the sides, will cost you $19.99, and you can sign up to be notified when it is available.
With the Play Store price of the Nexus 4 itself being quite low, I’m sure people won’t mind paying a bit more to buy the bumper. As for that wireless charging pad, no one knows when it is going to be available for sale. Hopefully soon.
