The Redmi Note 5 Pro still is a great device for its price since there isn’t much difference between it and the newer Redmi Note 6 Pro. Much like any other device, the Redmi Note 5 Pro has a few bugs and issues some of which were present from the beginning and some of which came into existence with a couple of OTA updates.
Nevertheless, Xiaomi usually delivers bug fix updates fairly quickly to its devices and speaking of updates, the company has now begun rolling out a bug fix update for Redmi Note 5 Pro users. It carries MIUI version 10.2.1 and brings several fixes along.

The update claims to fix a couple of major issues with the camera application which captured burst mode images accidentally. This update also fixes a couple of issues with the file manager which displayed icons incorrectly and a bug that caused the thumbnails to load at a snail’s pace.
If you’ve been facing any one of these issues, then we’d suggest updating your device to the latest version of Android. The update would be rolled out in batches hence, you might have to wait a while for the update notification to land on your device. You could also check for the update manually by heading over to Settings > About phone > System update.
