Samsung has posted a new teaser for the upcoming Galaxy S8 on TVCF, the number 1 Ad portal in Korea. This is the third teaser that the company is airing in South Korea for the Galaxy S8 smartphones.
The Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus are going to be announced on March 29 at separate events held in London and New York. This latest teaser video is most likely confirmation that the S8 features an Iris scanner.
In the teaser video, you see a man at the center of a circular maze. The camera then zooms out to reveal what very much looks like an eye. Now that definitely is a nod at the iris scanner feature that will be present in the new smartphones.
The Iris scanner on the Galaxy S8 devices are going to be placed at the bezel above the display. This feature was first introduced by Samsung in the Galaxy Note 7. The fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be moved to the back of the device.
