New OTA update for Verizon Droid Turbo 2 rolling out, includes security patch for the month of August 2017

Verizon is rolling out a new software update to its Motorola Droid Turbo 2 which installs the latest Android security patch, i.e., August on the smartphone.

The update is arriving with the software version 25.216.2. Apart from the security patch, it should also improve the security and performance of the smartphone while fixing the bugs that existed in the previous build.

You can either download the update over a stable Wi-Fi network or over cellular data although the former is always recommended. Also, back up your personal data before installing the update. A back up always comes in handy should there be any issue.

Motorola had accidentally leaked the details of its upcoming X4 handset earlier today. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz. It will reportedly feature a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display, 3,000mAh battery, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and much more. You can check more details regarding the device here.
