Motorola has officially launched the Edge 60 Pro in India, expanding its Edge 60 series lineup. The device is positioned as the top model in the series, following the recent launches of the Edge 60 Fusion, Edge 60 Stylus, and vanilla Edge 60.

The Edge 60 Pro is priced at ₹29,999 for the base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM version costs ₹33,999. This pricing makes it ₹2,000 cheaper than last year's Pro model. You can get an additional 5% discount with select bank cards, and no-cost EMI options are available at ₹5,000 per month.

The smartphone comes in three Pantone-curated color options: Dazzling Blue, Shadow, and Sparkling Grape. Pre-orders began on April 30, with sales starting on May 7 at 12 PM through Flipkart, Motorola's official website, and retail stores.

The Edge 60 Pro features a 6.7-inch 1.5K quad-curved pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and offers 100% DCI-P3 color reproduction.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme processor built on 4nm architecture, paired with Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. This chipset distinguishes it from the vanilla Edge 60, which uses the Dimensity 7300.

The camera system includes a triple rear setup with a 50MP main camera with Sony LYTIA 700C sensor and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with macro capabilities, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The front houses a 50MP selfie camera. The device also features a color spectrum sensor and Pantone validation.

One of the standout features is the large 6,000mAh Si/C battery with 90W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging capabilities. The phone runs on Android 15 out of the box, with Motorola promising three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.

The Edge 60 Pro boasts impressive durability with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H certification for military-grade durability. Additional features include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and anti-fingerprint coating.

Motorola has also integrated various AI capabilities into the device, including AI Image Studio, AI Playlist Studio, Recall, and Catch Me Up. The phone comes with Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and Perplexity Pro pre-installed.

The launch of the Edge 60 Pro follows Motorola's recent introduction of other products in India, including the Moto Pad 60 Pro tablet and Moto Book 60 laptop last week.
