HTC has released several devices in the past few months, but the firm has not made them available in the U.S. market. Now, a new FCC listing shows the first glimpse of hope for the firm in U.S. It seems like HTC is prepping a new smartphone OPM3100. The FCC listing shows some of the specifications of this new device.

The device seems to have Verizon compatible LTE connectivity support with features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It looks like the device has a removable back panel and a 4.7 inch Bitland BT047 LCD panel. The dimensions of the smartphone seem to be almost identical to the One M9 in terms of width and One M7 and One M8 with respect to its height.

Looking at the history of Verizon, the HTC OPM3100 might be the 2015 version of the HTC One Remix that has a display upgrade from 4.5 inches to 4.7 inches. Also, there could be a smaller HTC One M9 with tweaked specifications and a relatively affordable price tag. However, the removable back panel and battery point out at the Desire 612 replacement that also has a 4.7 inch display.

Anyways, we are likely to see a Verizon specific mid-range HTC smartphone that could be sold at a price less than $100 with a new contract.
