Motorola and Verizon Wireless partnered to announce the 5G Moto Mod in August 2018, but the device had to wait until 2019 to begin selling on the Big Red.
The first host of the 5G Moto Mod, Moto Z3, arrived in late 2018, but support for the 5G Moto Mod had to wait until early 2019 after the release of Android 9 Pie update to the Z3. Motorola is expected to announce more devices that support this Mod, but we don’t know when they’ll arrive. Until then, let’s talk about the Mod’s software updates.
