The standard Motorola Moto X4 smartphone has just started to receive an update to Android 8.0 Oreo. The update is currently rolling out to users in India and should be available in other regions very soon as well.
Earlier this week, the Android One variant of the Moto X4 had also received the Oreo update. The build number of this update is OPW27.2 and it is available to users as an OTA download. If you own a Moto X4 and are living in India, then you will be getting the update in the next few days.

Android 8.0 Oreo will bring plenty of new improvements and changes to the software. New features such as Smart text selection, Picture-in-Picture mode, Autofill, Notification dots, battery life improvement, and more will be available after the update.

Apart from that, the update also installs the latest December Android security patch that will improve the security of your device. Last week, Verizon had released the Oreo update for the Moto Z2 Force. A lot of Motorola smartphones will be getting the Oreo update soon.
