The 2015 flagship device from Motorola, Moto X Pure (USA) has just gotten itself some love from the custom development community — TWRP Recovery.
An unofficial build of TWRP recovery has released for the Moto X Pure over at xda by developer Hashbang173. The recovery stands at version 2.8.7.0 and available as .img file flashable via Fastboot.
The recovery is reportedly working fine for the device along with all of its functions/features. You can test/install it on your Moto X Pure by unlocking its bootloader.
Unlocking the bootloader is pretty simple on Motorola devices as the company officially supports it, however, the warranty on your device is void if you unlock bootloader. So be completely sure of what you’re doing before proceeding ahead.
