A new Motorola device, identified as model no. XT1607 which we have long believed is none other than Moto E 3rd Gen, just made it to FCC.
This essentially tells us that worldwide release of Moto E is close, and that it’s gearing for US too.
Nothing else could be extracted from the FCC docs though, sadly, except that one doc related to FCC label tells us that it will have the FCC ID under the back cover, right on the battery compartment.
So yes, battery is removable. And lastly, as is abundantly clear from the screenshot above, there is a 16GB model of Moto E3 in existence.
