It has been roughly a month since the launch of the One M9+ smartphone at an event in Beijing. Now, the Taiwan based firm seems to be ready to unveil a plastic variant of the smartphone allegedly dubbed M9e.
This device has been spotted on the Chinese certification database TENAA that has revealed that the handset has similar specifications as the One M9+. Some of the specifications include a 2.2 GHz octa core MediaTek processor supported by 3 GB of RAM, 5.2 inch Quad HD 1440p display, UltraPixel front facing snapper, 20 MP rear camera, expandable storage space and fingerprint scanner.
Though the imaging hardware seems to be identical to that of the One M9+, the M9e seems to miss the Duo Camera arrangement that lets users refocus the images after shooting them.
As the One M9+ seems to be restricted to the Asian markets, we can expect the M9e that has been spotted at TENAA to be made available for the western markets.
