Either of HTC’s current upcoming jewels, the HTC U Play and the HTC U Ultra, seems to have shown up for FCC certification. We just got wind of an HTC device trespassing through FCC, and it comes in two model numbers 2PYR200 and 2PYR210, differentiated only by color.
Given that HTC has decided to focus their energy on a limited number of products for 2017, these device may as well end up being either of U Play and U Ultra. Both model numbers were even spotted at certification and testing company SGS’ website.
Out of the two, the U Ultra shares the more premium status. Featuring a Quad HD 5.7-inch display and top of the line Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, the U Ultra just manages to miss out as a flagship. HTC even went the extra mile to include a secondary display and protect the display with Sapphire Glass.

The U Play on the other hand has excluded the secondary display and the sapphire glass but still retains enough features to be a competent enough device. As for the cherry on top of the icing, both devices will be shipping with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
