Next week, LG will hold an event to announce its new product portfolio, but all we have known is that the event will be mainly about the LG V40 ThinQ. Apparently, we were wrong. And so were you.
According to seasoned leaker Evan Blass, LG will not only unveil the V40 ThinQ at the event, but also a new LG Watch W7 smartwatch to rival Samsung’s Galaxy Watch unveiled a few weeks ago. Yes, this is a name we haven’t seen before on LG smartwatches, but it’s not the first time details of this piece of hardware are showing up online.
Half a year later, this will launch alongside the LG V40 ThinQ as the LG Watch W7. https://t.co/vEXJ6BOvvG

Earlier this year, Android Headlines exclusively reported about an LG Watch Timepiece hybrid smartwatch with a 1.2-inch LCD panel with 360 x 360p resolution, stainless steel body, IP68 water and dust resistance, physical watch hands, a very precise quartz movement, and runs Wear OS. On the inside, this watch was reported to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 chipset, 768MB RAM, and 4GB storage, but of course, none of this has been verified to be final.

At the time of its leak, the said LG Watch Timepiece was expected to be unveiled in late April 2018, but according to Blass, it is next week, October 3rd, that we’ll finally get to see this smartwatch posing as the LG Watch W7.
It’s only a few days between now and then, so we’ll for sure find out more details about this watch sooner than later.
