LG has unveiled a new variant of its mid range curved smartphone LG Spirit called LG Volt in its homeland Korea. The device is quite identical to the LG Spirit in terms of specifications and design and it is priced at KRW 200,000.
The only difference between the two smartphones is the use of a 1.2 quad core Snapdragon 410 chipset in the Volt. Notably, at the time of announcing the LG Spirit, the firm claimed that the device will arrive in two processor options depending on the market. While the Spirit came with a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, the Volt has a 1.2 GHz quad core chipset. However, both will be paired with 1 GB of RAM for moderate multitasking and 64 bit processing support.
Otherwise, the LG Volt is similar to the LG Spirit carrying a 4.7 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and running on Android 5.0 Lollipop platform. The device is curved slightly and it is touted to have 3000 mm radius curvature.
In terms of imaging, the LG Volt flaunts an 8 MP main snapper with LED flash at its back and a 1 MP front facing selfie camera. There is 8 GB of native storage support that can be expanded up to 32 GB. Other aspects of the device include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with A-GPS, NFC and a 2,100 mAh battery.
