The LG V30 is getting a new software update with a couple of bug fixes and the latest Android security patch. This update is only available for the unlocked variant with Android 7.1.2 on board.
If you’ve got an unlocked LG V30(H930), then you shall be seeing this update anytime now. It is being delivered over-the-air, and weighs in about 500MB. With the update, your device will get the November Android security patch, and improvements to phone usability and functionality.
We recommend that you install this update as soon as you get it. Make sure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network before downloading the update. The software version is v10v-EUR-XX and the build number is N2G47H.

LG is currently testing out the Android Oreo update for the V30, having recently released the first beta in Korea. You can sign up for the beta program if you’d like to test the new software. You can learn more about it here. The final public version should arrive later this month.
