Just a few days ago we heard of the LG Optimus Vu 2 in a leaked image with full specifications of the phone. And today LG has officially announced the 4:3 ratio phone that has more or less not changed much from its predecessor in terms of design and size.

The Optimus Vu 2 has however substantially changed from the inside, a new Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB RAM and massive 2150 mAh battery are among the major upgrades to the phone this year. Also there are some new features added like an integrated IR blaster and QRemote app that can control your home theatre. A new Rubberdium Pen 2.0 stylus with more precise nub and thinner body is also included.

There’s support also for a new One Key accessory that’s a waterproof fob and is intended to be used as a key ring. It comes with an LED indicator that will notify you of any missed call, SMS and other alerts like battery low or battery fully charged. Also in cases when you couldn’t find your phone but you know it’s around somewhere, you can press the button on the key ring and it will make the phone beep loud so you can find it.

The phone will also have the cool utility features that were showcased in the official LG Optimus G video a few days earlier. Have a look at the full spec sheet below:
