LG Nexus 4 Price is £389?

It had to come out sooner or later. We’re talking about the UK contract free pricing for the upcoming LG Nexus 4. A few hours ago, we wrote about the LG Nexus 4 being listed for pre-order on the Carphone Warehouse website. A few minutes ago, a leaked image of the Carphone Warehouse inventory listing, shows two color variants of the LG Nexus 4, black and white. More importantly, the screenshot also indicates the non-tariffed, or off-contract pricing for the Nexus 4, at £389.

If we compare the way the part names are featured in this image, against the CPW inventory listing image that was leaked earlier, they actually do seem to match to the tee. Plus the earlier image also had both the Black, and the White option for the LG Nexus 4. While this is still unconfirmed, it might very well be true given the consistency between both leaks.

£389 for the LG Nexus 4, eh? I would have expected it to be a bit lower, considering we are looking at a handset with just 8GB of storage, and no expansion slot?

What are your thoughts on the price? Too high, just right, or do you think it could have been lower?

  1. It would be disappointing for me, I hoped to see price ~$400

    1. Come on… it’s got some really awesome hardware, except for microsd card support and no 32 GB version, and latest and greatest software. Up to $600 is definitely justified.

As for $400 price, I think you gotta wait for like 4-5 months, when 16 GB version will hit that price I guess.

    2. 390 gbp is just right!!! It’s very cheap (compared to when I’ve bought Samsung Galaxy S+ GT-I9001 i bought it for 400 gbp (1080ltl). But we (lithuanians) have to deal with high price even as our wage is lower…

    3. Yes, that price seems right. But, right now, it looks like it’s an 8 GB model, would have been wonderful if it’s 16 GB one. Let’s hope.
