The South Korean firm LG has announced that it will start the global rollout of the new mid range smartphones LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy. The initially release of these smartphones will happen in South Korea and they will reach the European, Asian, African and North American markets as well.
The LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy were showcased at the MWC 2015 tech show early this month and they are preinstalled with Android 5.0 Lollipop. The new smartphones from the firm are mild in terms of design, except for the Magna and Spirit that are built to make sure they fit comfortably when they are held in hand.
As they are mid range smartphones, the handsets have mediocre specifications and here they are listed below.
The LG Magna boasts of a 5 inch HD 720p display and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz or 1.3 GHz (3G/4G) quad core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. The other aspects of the device include an 8 MP main snapper at its back and a 5 MP front facing selfie snapper for imaging. The device bundles 8 GB of expandable inbuilt storage and it is powered by a 2,540 mAh battery.
The LG Spirit is given a 4.7 inch HD 720p display and features relatively advanced imaging options such as an 8 MP main camera at its back with LED flash and a 1 MP front facing snapper for selfies and video conferencing. The Spirit is energized by a 2,100 mAh battery. The other aspects are identical to that of the Magna.
LG Leon is bestowed with a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixel resolution and it is equipped with an 8 MP or 5 MP primary camera and a VGA selfie camera at the front. The internal storage space also varies with 8 GB or 4 GB of storage capacity based on the 3G or 4G connectivity. The RAM also depends on the connectivity and it will be either 768 MB or 1 GB. The other aspects are identical to the above models and it uses a 1,900 mAh battery to juice it up.
Lastly, LG Joy is the smallest and cheapest offering with a 4 inch WVGA display with pixel density of 233ppi and it is stuffed with a 1.2 GHz dual or quad core processor and 512 MB of RAM. There is 4 GB of expandable memory capacity, a 5 MP main snapper and a VGA front facing camera onboard. It uses a 1,900 mAh battery as in the LG Leon.
