LG G6 has been the target of a number of leaks and rumors for quite some time now. But this time, it is the mother of all leaks we have come across. The first ever live images of the high-end LG smartphone have surfaced.
As evident from the image above, it is in no way a finished product. But it does help us to confirm some of the old leaked news. The metal exterior and almost bezel-less look totally fits in the bill. It was already reported that the new LG flagship will sport minimum bezels, a 5.7-inch display with feature a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. Then there were renders by Ghostek showing an all metal unibody construction.
Another feature on the front, which caught our eye, on very careful and minute observation of course, is the rounded corner.
In the image, the rear portion shows the dual-camera setup with a rear fingerprint scanner at the center which again falls in line with the Ghostek renders. The rear material cannot be guessed from the pic, as obviously this is not the end product, but only a shell at the back being used to aid in testing.
We can also spot a bottom USB Type-C port with single speaker and a top-mounted headphone jack.
Whether these prototype images fit the bill or not, we need to wait just a little. The whole picture will get clearer on Feb 26, the date chosen by LG to showcase its next mobile standard-bearer.
