LG G6 being the first premium phone to be released this year, it stands to be a hit amongst consumers thus shaking up the sluggish mobile telecommunications market that took a hit in the latter half of last year.
LG G6 has already been off to a good start with around 40,000 units pre-ordered in a span of four days. In fact, the booking of G6 in the past two days has surpassed the achievements of last year’s flagship LG G5.

The LG G6 has a competitive advantage as it is the only premium phone launched in Korea in Q1 this year. Retailers are also paying attention to the fact that reserve sales momentum will continue even after launch. However, buyer response after today’s launch will be the key to the early hit.
Available in Astro Black, Ice Platinum and Mystic White color options, the G6 sports 5.7-inch QHD+ FullVision Display (2880 x 1440 pixels) with an amazing aspect ratio of 18:9. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Processor, the phone packs in 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage. There’s a 3,300mAh battery to keep the lights on. Other features include Google Assistant, IP 68 rating, fingerprint scanner. It comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
LG Watch Sports and Watch Style releasing tomorrow
