We’ve great new for our Korean friends who own an LG G2 at SK Telecom, the much-craved Lollipop update has been released for your dearest device. After all, we already knew about it. We’ve got the changelog for the G2 Android 5.0 update below, but more importantly, the model no. of the G2 that is receiving the Lollipop treatment is LG-F320S.

In the not-so-famous battle of Lollipop update for 2013 flagships, LG has pipped its local and global rival Samsung, and arguably Motorola, too as Moto X Lollipop update is still under soak test. On the global front, Motorola may stage a comeback easily and win the crown because LG will still need to put in lots of efforts to make its current build compatible with international LG G2. We also expect the HTC One M7 to receive Android 5.0 update real soon, as we’ve already seen it running in a video leak.

Grab the update here.

Here’s the update changelog:

  1. Android 5.0.1
  2. Access apps directly from the lock screen by double tapping on its notification.
  3. New Recents tasks screen from Lollipop.
  4. Do not disturb mode.
  5. Power saving mode.

Anyway, with Lollipop, Android updates are rolling out way faster, partly in thanks to it being the only update in an year, and mostly because Google released the preview months ago than full release to get OEMs ready for what they are up to with Lollipop.

Even the companies like XOLO have done the homework pretty nicely, as its low-range Android One killer (hyping things up, nothing else!), XOLO One, received the Lollipop update too yesterday.
