Lenovo Phab2 model PB2-650Y passes through FCC, could be Phab 2 Pro Tango device

We just spotted a new device doing its trade at the FCC, and it goes by the model no. of PB2-650Y. Is it the first Tango Android device we know of as Phab 2 Pro? Or is it a variant of that device, Phab 2 Plus, or simply the Phab 2.

We will know only in future which one of the three Lenovo Phab 2 sets carries the model no. PB2-650Y. What we know now is that it won’t be a long wait given the said electronic gadget has cleared the FCC barrier.

For the uninitiated, the Phab 2 Pro is one of the most anticipated devices of this year because of its support for Project Tango. It’s that one rare heavily anticipated device that has raised eagerness in users with reason not being either or both of next-gen specsheet or budget price.

Google and Lenovo shared stage recently to announce the demo the Phab 2 Pro and their Tango project to the public recently — and we can say, it has certainly piqued users’ interest.

BTW, it’s very much possible that PB2-650Y is a regular Phab 2 device, and not the Phab 2 Pro, because we think model no. PB2-690Y is that one.
