After launching K8 Note in India for Rs 12,999 last month, Lenovo has launched another device in India that goes by the moniker Lenovo K8 Plus. Mind it, it is not a variant of K8 Note, it’s just a different device with the name K8 Plus.
Lenovo K8 Plus sports a 5.2-inch Full High Definition (FHD) IPS screen with 178-degree viewing angle. Talking about performance, the K8 Plus features 3GB RAM, 32GB memory coupled with an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25Â processor. The smartphone has a dedicated SD card slot. It boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

In the optics, the latest model of K series features a dual rear camera with one lens having 13MP Purcell sensor, while the other one features 5-megapixel depth sensor. Together, they create a nice bokeh effect in photographs. On the front, you get 8MP selfie camera.
Similar to other Lenovo K series smartphones, K8 Plus features audio enhancements such as Dolby Atmos audio and a dedicated music key on the left edge that you can remap to any app unlike Bixby button on Samsung (Ughh!).
Further, the device comes with support for virtual reality videos that you can watch with a compatible headset. For all this entertainment, Lenovo has provided you with a 4000mAh battery.

Other features include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, OTP support, and rear fingerprint sensor. The device comes in two color options of Venom Black and Fine Gold. It will be sold exclusively via Flipkart for INR 10,999. It will go on sale from tomorrow i.e. 7 August at 12 pm IST.
Oh BTW, Lenovo will soon launch another model named as Lenovo K8 that will be sold through offline stores. It will have similar specifications to K8 Plus except it will feature a single 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek P20 processor.
