The budget smartphone market is a battleground better left unstudied, because doing so might leave you with a headache. The budget smartphone makers like Lava, Micromax and others, they launch new devices every then and now that it’s a nightmare to pick the best out of them. Anyway, the latest to join the party is Lava EG932 which just launched on the online retailer Snapdeal for INR 11989 ($189) and we guess it’s one of the worst.

The Lava EG932 doesn’t sport anything spectacular in the specsheet that you should be excited of. The device ships with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean which is upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat and the display a 5.0 inch qHD. Lava EG932 runs on a 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 1GB RAM and has a 5MP camera on the back and a 0.3MP camera on the front.

Going through the specsheet, you should have guessed it by now that it’s an utterly shameful device to purchase for its price — INR 11989, seriously? The Yu Yureka literally smokes out every bit of this device, and for much lesser price than it. Get your business right Lava. Even the Android One devices which are selling for INR 6,499 ($100) have better specs than the Lava EG932.
