The Chinese manufacturer is prepping the Huawei Mate 8, but when exactly this device will be unveiled is unknown. Also, there are no details on how this upcoming device will look like. There are speculations that the device will be going official in September at the IFA 2015 tech show as its predecessor.

We have already got a glimpse of the exterior of the Huawei Mate 8, but that is the look of an early prototype and there chances for it to change. The same is suggested by a new render that throws some light on the looks of the device.

The render allegedly shows the Huawei Mate 8 in a metal rim all around it alongside some other apparent changes. There appears to be a strange sensor above the earpiece on the front of the alleged device.

As the selfie camera is seen on the left, this one leaves us wondering what it could be. Perhaps, it can be a light or proximity sensor or something advanced than these sensors. The earlier photos of the Huawei device are different as there is no front flash on them and the speaker seems to have been repositioned.

Previous reports suggest that the Huawei Mate 8 might flaunt a 6 inch Quad HD 1440p display, 3 GB of RAM and an in-house Kirin 930 SoC. But, there are speculations that the manufacturer might use the latest octa core Kirin 950 SoC with Mali-T880 graphics unit.
