Key specs of Moto G7, Moto G7+ and Moto Z4 revealed

Alleged Moto G7 certification reveals processor upgrade and early release

For the past many weeks the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus have been dominating the rumor mills. Last time the G7 had leaked in press renders, giving away a shift in design with a water-drop notch upfront, dual rear-cameras, and fingerprint scanner embedded into the Motorola logo.

While the phone duo will make their debut in 2019, seemingly, we have leaks coming our way revealing Motorola’s plan for 2019. The leak which has come in the form of a Twitter post from the tipster, Andri Yatim (@HeyAndri) suggests that along with mid-rangers, the Moto G7 and G7 Plus a premium smartphone, the Moto G4 is also in the pipeline for the next year.

The high-end Moto G4 will come integrated with the upcoming 7nm Snapdragon 8150 which is a significant upgrade from the Snapdragon 835, currently powering the Moto Z3. According to the Andri Yatim, the Moto G4 will be preinstalled with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage.

He also tips that the Moto G7 will have a Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB default storage whereas its plus model will come armed with an unspecified Snapdragon 700-series SoC. We expect it to be Snapdragon 710 SoC or even a new one from 700 series if it at all comes out before the launch of the device. The Moto G7 Plus will include 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Other than this, Yatim didn’t divulge much. There is no word about other specifications or as to when these devices will see the daylight or what price tags they will come with. The only thing we know that these are in the kitty of Motorola for 20019.
However, there could be more Moto devices lined up for 2019 which we don’t know. We hope with the dawn of 2019 we might get a clear picture about what to expect from the Lenovo-owned company.
