You know that one very obvious Samsung Galaxy S4 spec-sheet and release date has already leaked out, and has been denied too by Samsung, don’t you? Looks all cool, nothing busy, right? Well, just when we thought so too, reports have emerged that there is a Samsung device under testing, which packs in a solid — we meant it — hardware which can be seriously trusted on to successor of Galaxy S3 — now that maybe Galaxy S4 simply, or Galaxy S3 Plus or something (ah, when it comes to guessing names of its upcoming  phones, especially when we’re talking a successor phone with slight modifications, Samsung’s always a winner).

Dubbed as Samsung TE4, a device equipped with a dual Exynos 5 1.7 GHz dual-core Cortex A15 architect based processor and one cool Mali-T604 graphical unit, with display with a resolution of 752 x 1280 pixels, was unearthed  today. Yes, it’s not a quad-core processor, and yes, it’s a Cortex A15 chip, at whopping 1.7 GHz, which is awesome.

Btw, the iPhone 5 uses a Samsung-made chip too, and it might be this one only, but modified by Apple as it usually does.

Even if Samsung isn’t planning Samsung Galaxy S4 in near future, it does makes sense to expect a quick upgrade to Galaxy S3 in light of iPhone 5 and newer tech available with Samsung not totally befitting the Galaxy S4. So, it could be in the form of Galaxy S3 Plus, with the above mentioned CPU and GPU, and may also borrow the LTE goodness from another Galaxy S3 variant already in rumors, the Galaxy S3 LTE.

What do you think?
