Are Hypershot codes free?

Yes. Every code is issued by the developer at no cost and simply needs to be typed into the Rewards menu to claim the Coins, Gems, or charms attached to it.

Why didn’t my code work?

Double-check that you typed ONEBILLION exactly as written and that you’ve already completed one match, since the Rewards tab won’t accept codes until then. Codes tied to a limited-time event, like the ones tagged Christmas or Thanksgiving above, also stop working once that event ends.

Keep checking back before you queue up for your next match, since the current code could be swapped out for a new one at any time.
