In April 2018, Huawei launched the Y9 2018, the first device to assume the Y9 tag name under the budget Y series. Five months down the line, the device has a successor dubbed Huawei Y9 2019 whose main target is the young generation.

Huawei also says the second-gen Y9 has the Fingerprint 4.0 identification technology that promises a speed of just 0.3 seconds to unlock the device. Even better is that you’ll be able to use the fingerprint scanner for navigation, including notification management.
Huawei says the Y9 2019 has an attracting price, but it doesn’t mention the figure. The company also says the phone is coming in mid-October for those living in the Levant market, but it doesn’t mention anything regarding other markets, although we should know these details after the device goes official in a couple of weeks’ time.
