The digital payment is an emerging market. With almost every OEM jumping into the payment technology bandwagon, soon everyone will be able to use smartphones for payment.
While Samsung, Apple, and Google have their mobile payment tech for some time now, recently LG also introduced LG PAY in South Korea.
Last year, Huawei introduced Huawei Pay in China, where Huawei is ranked number 1. Now, according to the latest news report, Huawei might launch Huawei Pay in the US soon. In the US, it will compete directly with Android Pay from Google.

Huawei has filed a trademark application to USTPO for Huawei Pay logo and term. Recently, Huawei filed a trademark for “Huawei Pay” term and logo in Europe too. It seems like Huawei is looking to expand Huawei Pay in other countries besides China.
Meanwhile, yesterday, Google launched a new payment app ‘Tez’ in India that is based on UPI and also uses ultrasound waves to send money between Tez users.
