Huawei P10 and P10 Plus release date set for March-April 2017

The upcoming Huawei P10 and P10 Plus could be released in March or April 2017, according to Yu Chengdong, the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group. It will also have a curved screen, but the price isn’t known yet.

The P10 and P10 plus has seen a fair share of leaks and rumors. It is the successor to the P9 and would most likely feature a Kirin 960 S0C coupled with 6GB of RAM. Recent leaks have revealed that these new smartphones could feature on-screen fingerprint sensors and support wireless charging.

Leaked images have also shown that the P10 and P10 Plus would feature dual cameras with Leica optics. The P9 came with dual cameras, so it is very likely that the P10 will carry on the trend.

As per leaked specs, the devices could come with Android 7.0 Nougat on board and an update to Android 7.1.1 could be released later on. There’s no exact ETA on the the release of these devices. A P10 Lite variant could also be released alongside the P10 and P10 Plus. Apart from these devices, Huawei is also rumored to be working on two new devices codenamed as Vicky and Victoria.
