Just yesterday, a Black color variant of the Nova 2 and the Nova 2 Plus leaked online and now both the smartphones pop up on the internet in two more colors. A leak which seems to be the official teaser from Huawei displays the smartphone in Green and Gold hues as you can see in the image below.
Besides, only in a day’s time we have seen both the Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus paying a visit to the Geekbench. While the former bears the model number PIC-AL00, the latter has BAC-AL00 as its model number.
There are rumors that both the phones will either be powered by the in-house Kirin 658 chipset or Snapdragon 660 SoC. However, there are a few contradictory reports suggesting that the Nova 2 will feature HiSilicon Hi6250 processor with the Nova 2 Plus being powered by HiSilicon Kirin 655 chip. We are not sure which rumor to believe, but we won’t have to wait long as the company is expected to pull the wraps off these handsets on May 26.

Also, there have been conflicting rumors suggesting that the Nova 2 will come with only a single rear camera as opposed to a dual camera setup on the back. However, the new teaser suggests that the latter is more likely to happen.
Both the handsets are expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat with a layer of company’s custom skin over the top. The Nova 2 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display while the Nova 2 Plus is expected to sport a slightly bigger display at 5.5-inches.
