Huawei has unveiled the MediaPad M2 flagship tablet and the sequel to the yesteryear model MediaPad M1. The device carries a price tag of $391 for the Wi-Fi + 4G LTE variant and $311 for the Wi-Fi only model respectively. It will be available in France this month and make its way into the other markets next month.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 boasts of an 8 inch display with a resolution of 1200×1920 pixels. Under its hood, the device is given a 64 bit 2 GHz octa core in-house Kirin 930 processor teamed up with 2 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of internal memory capacity that can be expanded further by another 32 GB using a micro SD card.
The MediaPad M2 features an 8 MP main snapper and a 2 MP front facer onboard. There is a 4,800 mAh battery that juices up the device running on Android 5.0 Lollipop topped with Emotion UI 3.1. Huawei’s flagship tablet carries a thickness of 7.8 mm and it is launched in Silver, Gray and Gold color options.
