Lately, a leaked Huawei roadmap revealed that the manufacturer will be launching eight new smartphones this year. As per this leaked information, the Huawei Mate 8 is believed to be launched next month.
As per the latest details regarding this smartphone, the Mate 8 will boast of a higher screen-to-body ratio than its predecessor. To remind you, the Huawei Mate 7 had a screen-to-body ratio of 78 percent.
The report suggests that the Huawei Mate 8 will boast of a Quad HD screen resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and equip a 64 bit octa core Kirin 930 chipset. The device is expected to feature a 20.7 MP main snapper with Sony IMX220 sensor, a fingerprint scanner and support to 4G LTE Cat.6 connectivity.
A few images of the bezel-less Huawei Mate 8 have been leaked. It appears like this is the trend of borderless displays as many Chinese players such as Oppo, ZTE, Vivo and Meizu are planning to launch such devices.
