Huawei Honor V9, which made quite a splash during its launch in China in February, will soon make its way into the US market. The phone has cleared Bluetooth SIG certification and is itching to entice US customers.
The Honor V9 is listed as model number DUK-L09 on the Blutooth SIG site. This is the same model number which we have seen accompanying Honor 8 Pro model in a number of benchmarking sites. Notably, Honor 8 Pro is a re-branded version of the Honor V9.

Packing in top of the end internal hardware, Huawei claims to redefine large-screen smartphones with Honor V9 by wrapping its features in an ultra-thin minimalist design. It features 5.7-inch QHD display. At its heart, it carries octa-core Kirin 960 SoC which is Huawei’s best SoC offering. This is paired with a whopping 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The power of Honor V9 can be gauged from the fact that the same Kirin 960 SoC is also used to power Huawei Mate 9 and the flagship Huawei P10 smartphone.
Giving an edge to the high-end hardware is the Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top and a massive 4,000 mAh battery. Camera lovers also have something for them in Honor V9 which sports dual rear camera set-up of 12MP+2MP and an upfront camera of 8MP resolution.
