Looks like the new smartphones are set to break all the sale records. First, the recently launched Oppo R11 gained 500K registrations in just 72 hours, now it’s Honor 9’s time.

Announced yesterday, the Huawei Honor 9 has crossed 300k bookings on JD.com in less than 24 hours. The data is only for JD.com; imagine the number of bookings on other platforms such as Huawei Mall, Lynx, Suning and other platforms.

Honor 9, which is the successor to Huawei Honor 8, features a curved design and 5.15-inch Full HD display. Unlike Honor 8, which had a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Huawei Honor 9 features a front fingerprint sensor.
