The Android 5.1 update broke TWRP recovery on a number of devices from a variety of manufacturers. We’ve been reporting of broken TWRP recoveries for the Samsung Galaxy devices after the 5.1.1 update, and similarly, the recently released Android 5.1 update for Huawei Honor 6 also did the same.
But thanks to user acbka at XDA for quickly coming up with an updated TWRP recovery which is reportedly working flawlessly on the Honor 6 lollipop update with software version emui3.1.
Also, the TWRP recovery version stands to the latest 126.96.36.199. You can grab the .img file of the recovery from the download link below and have it flashed via Fastboot. For help, follow the instructions page linked below.
