Last week, Huawei launched the Honor 4C smartphone in the Chinese market and now, the device seems to be all set to be released in the other markets. As per a recent report, the affordable smartphone could be launched in India on May 8 for an expected price of Rs 8,999.
When it comes to the specifications of the Huawei Honor 4C, the smartphone flaunts a 5 inch HD 720p display with a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. It is powered by an in-house HiSilicon Kirin 620 chipset housing a 1.2 GHz octa core processor and 2 GB of RAM.
The Honor 4C packs in 8 GB of native storage space that can be expanded further with the help of a micro SD card. The device boasts of a 13 MP main snapper at its back with LED flash, BSI sensor, 28 mm wide angle lens and f/2.0 aperture and a 5 MP front facer for video conferencing and clicking selfies.
The device running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system wrapped with Emotion UI 3.0 is energized by a 2,550 mAh battery. The device comes packed with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and dual SIM functionality.
Besides the launch of the Honor 4C, the firm is also alleged to launch another affordable smartphone called Honor Bee. It is claimed that the Honor Bee will be priced at Rs 4,999 in the country.
The Honor Bee features a 4.5 inch FWVGA 854×480 pixel resolution and it employs a 1.2 GHz quad core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor teamed up with Mali-400 graphics unit and 1 GB of RAM. The storage and software aspects of this smartphone are identical to those of the Honor 4C.
For imaging, the Honor Bee makes use of an 8 MP main camera with dual LED flash and a 2 MP front facing selfie shooter. The device comes with 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, dual SIM support and a 1,730 mAh battery.
