Huawei announced the launch of a new smartphone called Huawei G Play Mini in Italy. The device is already listed for sale for a price equivalent to $254 without a contract from any carrier. The G Play Mini is quite identical to the specifications of the Honor 4C that was launched in the Chinese market, but the design seems to be different.
When it comes to specifications, the Huawei G Play Mini boasts of a 5 inch IPS display with a HD 720p screen resolution. It is equipped with a HiSilicon Kirin 620 chipset that houses a 1.2 GHz octa core processor and 2 GB of RAM. There is a 13 MP main snapper and a 5 MP selfie shooter onboard.
The Huawei G Play Mini packs 8 GB of native storage space, dual SIM support without 4G LTE and a 2,550 mAh battery to energize the device. As of now, there is no word regarding the availability of the G Play Mini smartphone in the other markets, but it is expected to be launched in the other European countries in the near future.
