TWRP 2.8.7.0 is slowly gaining support for more devices that aren’t officially supported by TeamWin. Only recently the LG Optimus G received the TWRP recovery 2.8.7.0, and now the Huawei Ascend P7 (P7-L10) has one.
The Huawei P7 TWRP 2.8.7.0 comes from XDA member Araca, who compiled the custom recovery from “latest Source (Android 5.1.1) and build for Huawei P7-L10”.
TWRP 2.8.7.0 brings a number improvements and bug fixes over the previous 2.8.6 builds of the recovery, check out the full changelog for 2.8.7.0 over here.
To install TWRP recovery on your Huawei Ascend P7, you’ll need to have an unlocked bootloader so that you can flash the recovery image via Fastboot. OR in case your phone is rooted, just use the Flashify app from Play Store to flash the twrp recovery .img file. Either way, it’s very easy to install.
