HTC has unveiled the Desire 626G+ smartphone in India for a pricing of Rs 16,900. The handset is based on Android 4.4 KitKat topped with Sense UI and it uses an octa core processor to power it.

The Desire 626G+ is bestowed with a 5 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and it is equipped with a 1.7 GHz octa core processor of unspecified chipset teamed up with a moderate 1 GB of RAM. For imaging, HTC has given a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and Full HD 1080p video recording and there is a 5 MP front facing selfie snapper with f/2.8 aperture and BSI sensor onboard.

The Desire 626G+ bundles 8 GB of internal memory capacity that can be expanded further via a micro SD card. Apart from dual SIM functionality, the Desire 626G+ is packed with usual connectivity aspects such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with a-GPS and micro USB. There is a 2,000 mAh battery that powers the smartphone from within.

HTC has let out the Blue Lagoon and White Birch color options of the Desire 626G+ on sale in India for the aforementioned price tag of Rs 16,990.
