Spotify is constantly updated by its developers so that it can test and improve new features. Sadly this can sometimes mean saying goodbye to existing features and the track count for playlists seems to be the latest victim.
Users have no longer be able to view their track count when viewing created or other playlists. Let’s find out more about this issue.
Why can’t you view your track count on Spotify anymore? Is there a workaround?
Spotify recently removed the 10,000 count track limit from playlists which now allows creators to add more than 10,000 songs to their playlists. This now removes the requirement to keep track of the number of tracks in your playlist and thus the same was removed from the platform.
There is however a workaround that you can use to view your track count for a playlist. You can find out more about the same below.
How to see your track count for a playlist on Spotify using a workaround
You can view your track count for a playlist by adding a song to it. You won’t have to actually add the song but simply view the Playlist selection screen. You will then be able to view your track count for all your playlists on Spotify.
Open Spotify web player or the desktop app and visit the concerned playlist from your library.
You will find your current track count under the Playlist name beside your username.
And that’s how you can view the track count for a playlist on Spotify for desktops.
Open the Spotify app and visit a random song. Tap the 3-dot() icon.
Select Add to playlist.
You will now have a list of all your playlists. You should now be able to view their track count beside your username.
And that’s how you can view your track count for playlists on mobile devices.
Here are a few commonly asked questions about the missing track count from Spotify that should help you get up to speed.

You can indeed do your part and vote for this feature on Spotify’s official website. You can use the link below to cast your vote, and if the feature gets enough votes you might see it revived in a future Spotify update.

Unfortunately no, you can only view the track count for playlists that you have created on Spotify.
