To get Soralite Ingots in Palworld 1.0, mine Soralite Ore in the new southeast cloud-covered biome, then refine it with Pure Quartz at the Ancient Furnace after unlocking the level 66 recipe.
Soralite is one of the big new resources in the Palworld 1.0 update, and the Soralite Ingot is what actually feeds into the fresh late-game weapons and gear. The catch is that none of the old ore routes work for it — the ore only lives in a new cloud-covered region, and you need a specific tool and furnace to turn it into ingots. Here’s the full unlock-and-craft path so you can start stacking them.
What you need before farming Soralite Ingots
| Requirement | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Access to the new southeast cloud-covered biome | Clear the map cloud from the tower with a crystal on the right side of the map |
| Plasma Multi-Cutter | Unlock and equip it first — it’s the tool that harvests the marked Soralite nodes |
| Level 66 recipe | Reach level 66 to unlock the Soralite Ingot recipe |
| Ancient Furnace | Build the late-game Ancient Furnace at your base |
| Soralite Ore | Cut it from marked nodes in the cloud biome with the Plasma Multi-Cutter |
| Pure Quartz | Gather it in the snow biome (Astral Mountains and around Unthawable Lake) |
| Kindling and Ice Pals (level 6) | Assign a level 6 Kindling worker and a level 6 Ice worker to run the craft together |
KEY!This item sits behind several gates, and missing any one of them is what stops most players cold. Before you head out to farm, make sure you can reach the new biome, carry the right tool, and have both the recipe and the workstation ready back at base. You’ll also need two labor types running at once, so line up the right Pals in advance.
Where Soralite Ore spawns in the new biome

Soralite Ore is only found in the new region on the south-right (southeast) side of the map. That whole area starts out hidden under cloud, so it won’t even show up until you uncover it. Look for the tower with a crystal over on the right side — activating it clears the map cloud and reveals the biome so you can travel in.
Once you’re inside, you’ll see several different ore types scattered around, which is why players waste time swinging at the wrong rocks. Soralite doesn’t respond to a normal pickaxe. Instead, look for the marked location on the ore node, and use the Plasma Multi-Cutter on that mark to pull the ore out. If you’re standing at a node with no marker, it isn’t Soralite — keep moving.
How to get Soralite Ore and craft Soralite Ingot in Palworld 1.0
This runs from uncovering the cloud biome all the way to pulling a finished ingot out of the Ancient Furnace.
STEP 1/8
Uncover the southeast cloud biome

Find the tower with a crystal on the right side of the map and activate it to clear the cloud and reveal the region.
STEP 2/8
Unlock and equip the Plasma Multi-Cutter

Make sure you’re carrying the Plasma Multi-Cutter before you go — it’s the only tool that harvests Soralite.
STEP 3/8
Find the marked ore nodes

In the biome you’ll pass many ore types, so search for the marked spot on a node rather than mining at random.
STEP 4/8
Cut the Soralite Ore

Use the Plasma Multi-Cutter on the marked location to collect the Soralite Ore.
STEP 5/8
Unlock the level 66 recipe

Hit level 66 to unlock the Soralite Ingot recipe in your tech tree.
STEP 6/8
Build the Ancient Furnace

Unlock and place the Ancient Furnace at your base — it’s the only station that smelts this ingot.
STEP 7/8
Gather Pure Quartz in the snow biome

Collect the second material, Pure Quartz, from the snow biome, where it’s found throughout the area.
STEP 8/8
Assign Kindling and Ice workers to craft

Put a level 6 Kindling Pal and a level 6 Ice Pal on the furnace at the same time so they produce the ingot together.
The craft only fires when both a level 6 Kindling and a level 6 Ice Pal are working the Ancient Furnace at once — one type alone will leave it idle.

Getting Pure Quartz for the recipe
Soralite Ingots take a second material alongside the ore: Pure Quartz. This isn’t a new 1.0 resource, so you don’t need a special farm route — you can pick it up in the snow biome, with heavy deposits around the Astral Mountains and the Unthawable Lake fast-travel point. Grab a stack while you’re already up in the cold, and you’ll have enough to keep the furnace running.
Mistakes that stop Soralite Ingot crafting

Almost every failed attempt comes down to using old-game habits on a new-game item. The most common one is farming old ore routes — the desert, volcano, or Astral Mountains deposits — when Soralite Ore only spawns in the new southeast cloud biome. The next is swinging a normal pickaxe at the nodes; Soralite comes out only when you use the Plasma Multi-Cutter on the marked spot.
Back at base, the trip-ups are just as simple. If you haven’t hit level 66, the recipe won’t appear at all. If you try to smelt it in a regular furnace instead of the Ancient Furnace, nothing happens. And even with the right station, forgetting the Pure Quartz or assigning only one labor type will leave the furnace sitting idle — it needs both a Kindling and an Ice worker on it together.
What Soralite Ingots are used for
Soralite Ingots are a core late-game 1.0 crafting material that sits near the top of the power curve. They feed into much of the new high-tier gear, including a big share of the fresh 1.0 weapons — things like the Mechanical Bow, Combat SMG, Heavy Assault Rifle, Laser Sword, and Plasma Rifle. If you’re chasing end-game builds, a steady Soralite pipeline is what keeps those recipes affordable.
Frequently Asked Questions
What level do you need to unlock Soralite Ingot?
You unlock the Soralite Ingot recipe at level 66. Below that, it won’t show in your tech tree.
Where is Soralite Ore found?
In the new southeast (south-right) cloud-covered biome. You have to clear the map cloud from the crystal tower on the right side before you can enter and see the ore nodes.
Do you need the Plasma Multi-Cutter for Soralite Ore?
Yes. A normal pickaxe won’t work — you use the Plasma Multi-Cutter on the marked location on each node to collect the ore.
Which furnace makes Soralite Ingots?
Only the Ancient Furnace. Regular furnaces can’t smelt Soralite, so you’ll need to unlock and build the Ancient Furnace first.
What other material do Soralite Ingots need?
Besides Soralite Ore, the recipe needs Pure Quartz, which you gather in the snow biome around the Astral Mountains and Unthawable Lake.
More questions⤵
Why is the Ancient Furnace not crafting the ingot?
The usual causes are missing Pure Quartz, not having reached level 66 to unlock the recipe, or assigning only one worker type. The furnace produces the ingot only when a level 6 Kindling and a level 6 Ice Pal are both working it at the same time.
