Snapchat may not be the most popular social networking service in the world, but it still has an astoundingly loyal and young fanbase. The hyperactive teens keep the platform alive by sharing millions of Snaps every day, building enormous streaks.
Considering how important social media marketing has become, all major brands — especially the ones who wish to appeal to the teenagers — are now live on almost all social media platforms. And Snapchat, being a teen-magnet, is one of their favorite playgrounds.

Marketing teams regularly track user engagement through special analytics tools, which allows them to tweak their strategy if needed. The leading services in the segment, Facebook, and Instagram, both have their own, specially-curated monitoring tools, offering enough insight to marketing experts and analysts.
Snapchat, on the other hand, lacked the feature since launch and only got around to releasing something similar — Snapchat Insights — in May 2020. Today, we’ll tell you all you need to know about Snapchat Insights and help you make the most out of it.

What is Snapchat Insights?
Similar to the interpretations of Facebook and Instagram, Insights is an analytics tool for Snapchat. With Snapchat Insights, you can easily monitor your posts/stories’ engagement and even get in-depth information about your audience.
Which performance indicators are highlighted?
As mentioned, Snapchat Insights is a powerful tool, packing impressive and often game-changing stats.
You can see your daily, weekly, monthly, and cumulative Story views. You can also see your Story view time in the same space. Next, Insights shows you your real engagement — how many followers saw or reacted to your posts.
Coming to Audience Insights, you can see the predominant age group of your audience, gender, and up to 100 interests.
How to access Snapchat Insights?
Accessing Snapchat Insights is pretty straightforward. All you have to do is log in to your Snapchat account, tap on your Bitmoji at the top-left corner of the screen, and hit the ‘Insights’ button located at the bottom of the page.
Is it available for everyone?
Like all good things, Snapchat Insights, too, comes with a catch — and a massive one at that. As per Snapchat, Insights is currently only available for Official Stores or artists who boast a large enough followers’ count. So, to use Insights, one must first earn an invite from Snapchat, and only then can they get down to business.
The company, however, hasn’t mentioned how many followers would warrant an invite. We also still don’t have a public rollout date.
