Looks like recently launched Honor Play 6A from Huawei is the mobile phone of interest for many users. Registrations for the device have crossed over a staggering 200,000 users in China, according to JD.com. It seems like Honor Play 6A’s price tag of 799 Yuan has attracted a lot of budget friendly pockets.
Going at this rate, Huawei could make a name for itself in the entry-level segment pretty quickly. We also got to see the different color variants that the Honor Play 6A is available in today. The smartphone is based on an all metal build which gives it a more premium look for its price.
The device features a 5-inch HD, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on board storage, a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP front facing camera. The Honor Play 6A runs on 3020mAh battery which provides plenty of charge to last more than a day. Huawei is also retailing a 3GB RAM variant of the smartphone which comes with 32GB storage at 999 Yuan.

The smartphone is powered by Nougat Android 7.0 out of the box, which is a major factor for many looking for a budget minded model.
Most smartphones in this segment come with only Marshmallow out of the box — we’re looking at you, Asus ZenFone Live — and most of them end up being left out of the update to Nougat too. So, Huawei seems to have played its cards right with the Honor Play 6A.
