The Honor 8 Pro from Huawei has been around since April this year and is now making its way to India. The smartphone will be available on Amazon from July 6 onward. The Honor 8 Pro has a very heavy specsheet and sits in Huawei’s flagship territory. The device is being kept exclusive to Amazon for now.
Powered by the Kirin 960 SoC with 6GB of RAM, a 5.7-inch QuadHD display and a massive 4000mAh battery, the Honor 8 Pro carries enough firepower to compete with the likes of the Pixel, LG G6 and so on. The focus on this device is the dual camera setup which comprises of 12MP+12MP lenses. The front of the device sports an 8MP selfie camera. The device comes with 64GB of on board storage which is also expandable via microSD.
The Honor 8 Pro runs Android 7.0 Nougat on top of which sits Emotion UI 5.1. This leads us to believe that the smartphone may also be in line for Android 8.0.0 in the near future. The lack of novel features like a bezel-less display, Bluetooth 5.0 and fast storage solutions put the Honor 8 Pro somewhere below the likes of the Galaxy S8 and OnePlus 5.

All in all, the Honor 8 Pro is a great device and that fact that it doesn’t cost of a ton of money is enticing for those on the lookout for a premium smartphone.
